SUPPORTING FRONTLINE INDIGENOUS MOVEMENTS AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH A NEW PHILANTHROPIC MODEL

An evolution of the Seventh Generation Foundation, Seven Generations RISE Fund is shifting the power dynamic in philanthropic giving by centering Indigenous communities in the design, development and decision making of the fund.  

Seven Generation RISE Fund is led by an Indigenous Community Advisory board to inform grant program design and criteria. Seven Generations RISE has committed to prioritizing its grants to Indigenous communities.

The foundation will prioritize organizations carrying out social and environmental health & well-being, MMIW, cultural practice, healing & ceremony, decolonization, education, language revitalization and leadership development work for Indigenous communities.
