Treating Coffee Stains

Step 1: Spritz

How to Clean Coffee Stains
Coffee is an important part of your daily routine, but it comes with stains, spills, and messes—especially in your mugs and tumblers! Plus, regularly cleaning the coffee maker makes your daily cup taste that much better.
How to clean the coffee machine. It's super easy—we promise!
Step 1: Clean out the grounds and empty the pot. Rinse the pot with warm water.
Step 2: Fill the water tank with a mix of half water, and half white vinegar.
Step 3: Hit the brew button and stop halfway through a cycle. Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes to break down any mineral deposits.
Step 4: Finish the cycle. Empty the pot, then run a new cycle using just clean water, no vinegar. You may want to repeat this twice.
Step 5: Hand wash the pot and filter and let dry.
How to clean a coffee pod machine
Step 1: Unplug the machine and wash any removable pod holders and filters in the sink or dishwasher.
Step 2: Give the machine a quick once-over to make sure specific parts are clean of clogs or coffee grounds.
Step 3: Wash the water reservoir in the sink and let it air dry.
Step 4: If you need to "descale" the machine, run a brew cycle with vinegar or a solution recommended by your machine manufacturer.
How to clean mugs and tumblers
