In 2012, Seventh Generation formed The Seventh Generation Foundation.
Our mission is to care today for seven generation’s of tomorrows by stewarding social and environmental progress in the communities we live, work and do business through education, environmental conservation, research and advocacy.
We believe strongly that because our name is inspired by The Great Law of the Iroquois Confederacy, we have a duty to live up to our name and more deeply support Native American communities.
This is critical as this community receives less than 0.1% of charitable giving yet has needs far exceeding this support. It is our intention to direct at least half of our Foundation’s funds to Indigenous-led organizations.
