The laundry detergent bottle is made from 80% post-consumer recycled plastic.
Ingredients:
Aqua (water), sodium lauryl sulfate (plant-derived cleaning agent), laureth-6 (plant-based cleaning agent), sodium citrate (plant-derived water softener), oleic acid (plant-derived anti-foaming agent), sodium hydroxide (mineral-derived pH adjuster), boric acid (mineral-derived enzyme stabilizer), protease and amylase (plant-derived enzyme soil removers), glycerin (plant-derived enzyme stabilizer), calcium chloride (mineral enzyme stabilizer), sodium chloride (mineral viscosity modifier), citric acid (plant-derived processing aid and pH adjuster), essential oils and botanical extracts* for scented varieties only (see below for details), methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone (synthetic preservatives). for Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender*: (lavendula hybrid (lavandin), lavendula angustifolia (lavender), eucalyptus dives, pinus sylvestris (pine)) for Fresh Citrus Breeze***: (barosma betulina leaf/twig extract, gamma-decalactone, 3-hexenol, linalool, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, vanillin) for White Flower & Bergamot Citrus (discontinued)***: (citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot), citrus aurantium dulcis (orange), citrus aurantium amara (petitgrain bigarade sur fleurs), myristica fragrans (nutmeg)) for Wildflowers & Fresh Citrus (discontinued)**: (prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, cedrol, citronellol, eugenia caryophyllus (clove) leaf oil, citrus grandis (grapefruit) peel oil, litsea cubeba fruit oil, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, pogostemon cablin (patchouli) oil, citrus nobilis (mandarin orange) peel oil, vanillin, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) flower oil).

Usage:
This natural laundry detergent is a 2x concentrated formula and is designed to produce the best results when measured and used according to these easy steps:
SORT- Follow garment care label instructions.
PRETREAT- Pour natural laundry detergent directly on stained fabric, rub gently and soak before washing clothes.
MEASURE- Standard and HE Machines: For medium loads fill natural laundry liquid detergent to Line 1 in cap (1.5oz.) For heavily soiled or larger loads fill cap to Line 3 (2.2oz.)
POUR- Use dispenser for HE washers. For standard washers, begin to fill machine with water, add natural laundry detergent, then add clothes.
The 50 oz laundry detergent bottle contains 33 loads as measured to Line 1 in the cap. The 150 oz laundry detergent bottle contains 99 loads as measured to Line 1 in the cap.
Please recycle the laundry detergent bottle when you are done.

I already make a powder detergent at home with minimal ingredients, so I was excited to see a liquid natural laundry detergent. [The powder can get messy sometimes.] The liquid got out all the usual “kid” stains. The only thing that might turn some people off is the fact that it has no smell. Your clothes come out the laundry smelling like, “clothes” not a garden meadow or rain drops. Also, it works in HE washers.

So here's the real scoop. I read reviews and watch online videos before I purchase products. I have tried major brands of laundry detergent, and have made my own. I let my clothes get smellier than normal to try this product. When I pulled my clothes out of the wash, I found that odors that had been there for years, that I thought would never leave, were GONE! I was shocked really. My clothes felt lighter, and took less time to dry, no joke! I have sensitive skin, and know that I won't have to even think twice about this irritating it. Also, I have to wear all black to work, and know that I can look forward to have less fuzz glow in the blacklight because it does not contain optical brighteners. All in all, this is the best detergent I have ever tried and will be repurchasing this!:)

This detergent is the best! We use the free and clear. I love that I only need one detergent for my sensitive baby, my messy eight year old, and my hardworking husband! Everything comes out nice and clean and smelling fresh!

I really love this detergent. I found it on sale at my local store. I didn't even know we had it! I've been purchasing all kinds of Seventh Generation stuff, but I only recently discovered we had the detergent! I'm only buying this for the rest of my life. I know that for sure. My clothes smell amazing and they always come out clean, and the best part? I know I'm not harming the planet. My daughter will surely appreciate that when she gets older.

I've used this and several other laundry products from Seventh Generation. I love the clean smell and how well it cleans my clothes. I have really no complaints other than the price being a bit high. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it, however, I hear often from friends that wish they could afford to purchase it but can't.
