I was so thrilled to find what I thought was a [...] disinfectant. I bought the all purpose cleaner, bathroom spray and wipes! Yesterday I saw on www.ewg.org website that these cleaners are NOT [...] ---they are rated a D on a scale of A--F (F is the worst). I guess I'll be going back to using vinegar. I'm so disappointed! I also don't what to do with the remaining products now. I don't think I can pour it down the drain since EWG lists it as having high aquatic toxicity.
The product works fine, but oh the smell! Terrible! I was so disappointed. We've enjoyed your toilet paper and paper towels for a while now, but I really cannot even use this cleaner.
This is really the most horrible smell ever imagined. Like other reviewers I really don't care how well it cleans because it will clear a room in seconds. When it says "breathe easy" not with this around. [...] This would send me to the hospital.
In the trash it goes!
I have been using Seventh Generations line of disinfecting products (as well as many of their other products) since they came out thinking they were a much [...] alternative to mainstream products (e.g., [...]), but I recently noticed that EWG.com (Environmental Working Group) has put together a [...] guide for household cleaners and alarmingly most of Seventh Generations cleaners (a few of the old formulations are [...]) score a "C" or worse (with "A" being best, "F" worst). I am utterly disappointed!! I chose Seventh Generation products because of the companies apparent dedication to the environment and transparency when it came to listing ingredients used in their products, while also advocating that other companies do the same. Without a secondary source available to confirm their [...], or lack thereof, I believed they were using [...] ingredients, as they suggested. Check EWG before you purchase your next bottle of cleaners.
I don't care how good it works. The smell is absolutely horrible and I will never use it again. Please change the smell. Love all the other products.
