When I purchased this product, I decided to give it a go without my usual dish gloves. Happily my skin was not the least bit dried out or irritated. It leaves no icky residue on dishes or hands, so I feel safe knowing I won't ingest any gross chemicals off of my utensils. Cleaning power wasn't perfect, but it does the job, and I don't feel the need to worry about my health with this product. Kudos as usual SG:)
I used to LOVE the dish liquid when it was just lavender. Other dish liquids claim to be lavender, but this one was the real thing. It smelled like real lavender, and it obviously had the lavender essential oil in it, because my scrubbies never got funky! Lavender is antibacterial and anti-fungal, and that was also great.
Then it became lavender and mint. I was not thrilled with the addition of mint-- it smelled like toothpaste, but the lavender was still there and I love the scent of lavender, and my scrubbies still stayed fresh.
Now it's lavender floral and mint. BOO!!! The lavender is almost undetectable, and I have to think it's to save money. The scent, while fairly pleasant, used to be heavenly. Another product ruined just to save a few cents.
I imagine you tested it before changing it. I'll bet you tested it against the previous version, and not the original pure lavender one.
There's no reason for me to buy your product any more. I'm going in search of a real lavender dish detergent. I'll make it myself if I have to.
I wish I had known this would happen-- I would have stockpiled it.
I was looking for safe product, since I am severely allergic to glutenous products, also corn.. unfortunately Seventh generation is not clear about where the chemicals are derived from and if they are gluten free..
this soap made me quite sick..
I wish the labeling would be clear for us with allergies..
not all people are allergic, but many people are celiac and gluten sensitive today, deserving clear info and not to get sick..
if u make a product, u must take responsibility for human health by labeling CLEARLY..
if it is not gluten free, please STATE it!!
the word hypoallergenic is too broad and says nothing clearly
thanks!
Lemongrass & Clementine Zest - my favorite.....the citrus combination is great for anything greasy! My hands don't get chapped and dried out from this dish soap!
Why do you have the toxic ingredient sodium laurel sulfate as your second ingredient
