LOAD DISHWASHER: Make sure items can be safely washed in a dishwasher. Silver, aluminum and stainless steel should be washed in separate loads to avoid discoloration. Load items with soiled surfaces facing the center of the bottom rack for optimum dishwashing.

ADD DISHWASHER DETERGENT PACK: Use one natural dishwasher detergent pack per load. Do not unwrap or puncture pack. Do not handle dishwasher pack with wet hands. Place pack in main dispenser cup and close immediately.

Re-seal package after use and store in a dry place out of reach of children. For very hard water we recommend using Seventh Generation Rinse Aid.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Might be better if they fit my dishwasher Only half of the bag could be used. Although those did an OK job on the dishes, they are oddly shaped like small lemons and so most won't fit in the compartment. They are packed so tightly they can't be flattened. I won't be buying any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great and No Smell From Dishwasher Bought these thru Amazon and have used now for 3 months. All other "free" products did not clean well and there was a distinct odor from the dishwasher. Now my dishes are clean and no issue at all....probably those who have powder on their product either have too soft water or put the pac in the dispenser instead of on the outside of one of the shelves, especially if you have a kitchenaid or bosch dishwasher there is a space to put the small pac. And for those who wash plastic...kind of an oxymoron approach, plastics are chemicals and you are using a chemical free product???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best We Can Find! Our dishwasher is a 1998 Maytag. We have very hard water and this created rock-hard deposits within all the jets screens, etc. We found out several hears ago using Borax "Mule Team", prevents and dissolves minerals in hard water. Problem one solved. Several months ago we tried SG Powder packs because they are sodium chloride based and it is a natural corrosive when mixed with water. Since using the combination of Borax and S.G. Lemon dry powder packs, our dishes have improved 90% in cleaning, forgot to mention we use Jet-Dry Finish Rinse Agent, for a great combination that has also cleaned rock-hard deposits and stains on the plastic interior (i.e) door panel. I would have sworn these were stains that worked into the plastic molecules over the decades! This combination has proven to be wonderful for us! Hope it gives any readers an idea if you experience hard water problems like ours.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Left my dishes dirty! I'm very unhappy with this product! The package advertises "Sparkling, spot-free dishes without prewashing." "Get a total clean the first time. "Removes stuck-on food." I took my dishes out of the dishwasher and half of them still had food stuck on them so I had to end up washing those by hand. I clearly have to prewash the dishes first before putting them in the dishwasher. Oh, and a lot of the dishes had a white powder on them. So I had to wash those dishes as well! I used this product because it's safe to use on my 7 month old's dishes and utensils. I'm better off washing her dishes by hand and switching back to what I used to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ineffective product I have been using this product for a month, having recently switched from Costco's Kirkland packs when they "improved" their formula with additional chemicals. The Seventh Generation packs are terribly ineffective. About 1/3 of the dishes don't come clean. Try a different product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Residue on plastic Seems I had the same experience as everyone else. There is a residue left on the plastics. I got more of a greasy residue, white also, as if there was a film left on all the plastics. My concern is if it is safe. I put the wash through an extra rinse to see if it came clean, but it did not. I than used a dish towel to try to remove. Any suggestions from seventh generation? I see one review said to use half a pack, but is it safe to break the packs in half and if so, is a plastic baggy going to hold the rest of the soap well enough until it is used. I hate wasting money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this product a few weeks ago. To my dismay, there were 3 occasions which I found the lemon dish packs to be unsatisfactory. The soap pack did not dissolve. Unfortunately I will not be using the rest of the product because I feel that it was a waste of energy. I will still be a supporter of the other Seventh Generation products.
