Building Community in Vermont and North Carolina

Seventh Generation is proud to call Vermont home – our headquarters sit in Burlington overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain, and our employees are active in the local community. You may not know that the Seventh Generation family doesn’t stop there! We have small satellite office in Raleigh, North Carolina - and while our offices may be states apart, we all work together to live our company’s mission and values.

All of us at Seventh Generation dedicate time to volunteering. In fact, our employees commit more than 2,400 hours to volunteer work each year. Every employee is asked to complete the equivalent of 1% of their time – or 20 hours – to reach our yearly goal. Connecting with our local communities is at the core of what we stand for and we love calling Raleigh our home, too.

So what do our efforts look like in Raleigh? As a team, we’ve cleaned, mulched & organized Raleigh City Farm. We’ve also spent time sorting produce at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, helped build homes with Habitat for Humanity and planted over 300 trees & shrubs along the Eno River! Our team also visits local diaper banks with donations & serves meals at nearby soup kitchens.

Here at Seventh Generation, we’re all thankful for the opportunities we have to give back – and for a company that inspires us all to make a difference.
