Dark Green

So I fit the "dark green" categorization, but still feel I could be even greener, so to speak. I avoid buying anything new from the store if at all possible. To these ends I am a Freecycle & Craigslist addict and have recently discovered the Really Really Free Store at 1211 Parkwood Ave in Charlotte (its open every Saturday from about 11am - 3pm I hear... maybe they have longer hours, not sure). It's just a drop off & pick up location for anyone who walks in. Need something? You can probably find it there! Much love for the folks who have started it! Haven't progressed to dumpster diving yet! Can't seem to entirely kick the meat-eating habit either, especially not now that I'm pregnant. I'm up for any kind of awareness building activities in the community, info swapping, etc. Lots of free time on my hands now but still new to the area and not sure what's out there.
