You can create a pile or you can get all kinds of things from composting companies to help you. AND you don't have to buy dirt, supplements, miracle gro, or anything else. Fruits, veggies, leaves, egg shells, lawn clippings all put together make a wonderful recipe for a great and inexpensive garden.

I am a vegan who recycles everything. I compost in my back yard. My five dogs are vegetarian. I am on the advisory board of the Society of Peace, a member of PETA, Sea Shepherd, the Humane Society, Greenpeace and Mercy for Animals. I love kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, roller blading, outdoor activities in general. I drive a scooter to and from work which gets 90 miles per gallon. I live for the day that I can afford to put solar panels on my house.
