What do you think about our Bathroom Tissue?

I am happy with all the Seventh Generation products that I use, and this is no exception! I like "closing the loop" by purchasing as many recycled products as I can after recycling almost everything that I buy. As I prefer generally thinner toilette tissue, this product fits my needs perfectly.

My only suggestion/hope is that Seventh Generation can purchase the rights to use the new winding process "rolled out" (ahahaha) by Kimberly-Clark in October. http://inhabitat.com/is-new-tubeless-toilet-paper-just-a-green-tease/ This process eliminates the cardboard tube in the center of the roll and would save many trees each year. I LOVE TREES!!! :)

I buy the bathroom tissue, 1000, 1 ply sheets because it fits my budget and makes for convenient storage in my small living space.

I also found the bathroom tissue not soft enough. I don't mind paying extra for the product - but one thing I have a problem with is scratchy tp.

All right, as part of our household becoming a "greener home", I decided to purchase Seventh Generation recycled bathroom tissue. The only thing that needs improvement is that it needs to be a little bit softer. It sort of reminds us of the tissue we had to use in grade school. We've overcome this by "doubling up" the tissue, but I feel a little hypocritical using more tissue than I need. Is that bad of me?
