This is Adam, Seventh Generation Facilities Associate by day, up-and-coming magician by nights and weekends. I had the pleasure of winning Seventh Generation's in-house "How I Live Like the Lorax" contest recently and found myself, along with my fiancé Natasha, on the trip of a lifetime to the Hollywood premiere of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax. Since our return, everyone's wanted to know, "How was it?" so Seventh Generation asked me to blog about our adventures. Here we go!

Could it be our triple-enzyme, stain-fighting power?
Or our revolutionary, earth-friendly bottle?
Actually, it's both! And the more you know about our friend The Lorax and his message of environmental truth and ecological hope, the more you can see why all sorts of things about our Natural 4X Laundry Detergent might make him smile. 

Like Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, we're dedicated to "speaking for the trees" -- and we'd like you to visit them! Not just any trees, of course, but some of the world's oldest and tallest at Redwood National Park.

At Seventh Generation, providing consumers with better paper products has been a core part of our business for almost 25 years. This commitment comes from a deeply held belief that precious, old-growth forests should never be cut down and turned into products we use to blow our noses or wipe spills off our kitchen counters. We want to apologize for any confusion or dismay that our use of LORAX characters on our diapers and training pants may have caused. As you may know, The LORAX has been made into a new motion picture that we hope will bring Dr. Seuss' message of sustainability to a new generation, and in conjunction with its premiere we're doing lots of things to spread the book's ideas. Chances are, you've seen our favorite fuzzy little orange guy and his stamp of approval on Seventh Generation packages and products. Like Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, we're dedicated to "speaking for the trees" and leading the Seventh Generation nation to a cleaner and greener future. The Lorax's message is so closely aligned with our mission, in fact, that we've partnered with NBC Universal in the cinematic debut of Dr. Seuss's The LORAX, coming to theaters March 2, 2012.
