Spray Mop & Cleaner for Laminate Flooring

I would love a spray mop and/or cleaner solution liquid for my Pergo floors that would be a Swiffer Wet Jet alternative.

I have substituted the original chemicals in the bottle with vinegar and water but it just doesn't work as well on my laminates and I have 12 rooms to wash every other day.

Please get a piece of Pergo and work out a solution that will work without damage and/or that haze that is left on the floors.

Thank you for such wonderful products and all the work you do to save the earth.

Alternative

I have a Method Power Mop for my laminate, wood and old vinyl floors. I found it at Target & it works great. The head is washable microfiber & there are different ones you can buy depending on your floor. Method is a responsible company and their cleaner works well. I even use it with my homemade cleaners and have no problems.

I agree!

I have two types of Pergo - a low-end light version and a high-end medium colored version. I use a Swiffer on both and hate it! It's not natural for one and on the medium floor it leaves mop marks and it leaves linty residue. On the light floor it doesn't clean the smudges and needs lots of hands-and-knees scrubbing.

There has to be a better alternative and I'd LOVE one that's green and smells great or not at all. I'm ok with unscented products.

Thanks to the original poster for recommending this as a new product!

Great idea!

I have been struggling with my new Armstrong laminate floors. The recommended cleaner (Armstrong brand) is not green, of course. I have tried several different 'natural' and green cleaners (expensive!). Only one seems to work, but as soon as it's walked on, prints remain. I will try vinegar and water as soon as the bottle I have is gone - but it would be GREAT if 7th Gen would develop an affordable alternative laminate cleaner.
