Is Seventh Generation Safe for Septic Tanks?

I have a complex septic system. I have three tanks with bacteria that eat away the waste. I can only use certain products in my washing machine. Will the Seventh Generation Products destroy this "good" bacteria? I was told not to use Tide, but that I could use Gain.
Thanks
Carmen

Reservoir washing and proper

Reservoir washing and proper care may not be at the leading edge of your ideas, but it's an important topic to discover for anyone that operates one. Important concerns consist of what goes into your tank and the appropriate moving routine.

Safe for Septic Systems

Dear Carmen:

Harm can come to a septic system by the introduction of materials that are toxic to the bacteria, such as a large dose of chlorine bleach, by the introduction of materials that drastically change the pH balance of the septic system, such as a large dose of lye, or by the introduction of materials that do not dissolve or degrade, thereby filling the septic system so it has to be pumped out.

Seventh Generation cleaners are non-toxic, moderate pH, and will biodegrade so they will not interfere with the proper operation of your septic system.
