Replacing School Napkins with Seventh Generation Ones

At my school there are currently unsafe, bleached, and non-environmentally friendly napkins being used in the cafeteria. So, in order to change this, my friend and I spoke with the principal and ask if replacing them was possible. He told us it was, but only if we did research on a company that would be willing to be signed on with the school. So in our research, we came across 7 Generation. However, I'm not sure if it is in our price range, or even where or how to buy orders in bulk, or contact the company about our school's needs. Changing our school's napkins would make a great impact and any help with this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Consider the high school Eco Club in school corporation

Where I live, the Eco club focuses on recycling, however there are many things that they would/could look into if presented with the idea. You might find that bringing this to their attention could result in replacing the napkins corporation wide.

reusing napkins

Why not have children decorate their own reusable cloth napkins with their names, and bring them home for laundering? Non-toxic fabric paint pens could be used, and they could draw pictures about sustainability! I have a green educational toy on my website: www.SustainableBags.Net called "The Kids Kit To Save the Planet from Plastic Bags". It could be a winning solution all around! And don't put them in the drier - hang them out in the sun to dry with the rest of the wash!
