Hi. We are on the campaign trail for the "greener" products category in a unique competition and need your help. This is not a sales message and instead a call-to-action for the health of a new sustainable brand.
Our family business produces eco-friendly board games and was selected by a Forbes panel in a recently announced 2008 contest. With all the toy recalls and attention to green goods, the Forbes judges see potential with our brand.
In order to advance in this entrepreneurial contest, our company needs the public to vote for our business plan (that means hopefully YOU). Just a little online activism on your part, and you can help change the larger market!
The challenge is that we are competing against high volume interests including the high-tech medical community (a self-testing eyesight kiosk) as well as race car fans (an auto performance parts online store).
If you wish to forward this on to any colleagues or customers who want to see additional options on the market, here is a summary:
My husband and I have learned the thrilling news that our family business was selected
as 1 of 20 SemiFinalists in the 2008 Forbes.com Boost Your Business competition.
In this second round of the contest, we need to have the public cast votes for our
business plan. Our mission is to continue producing eco-friendly board games
that have mainstream appeal. The grand prize of $100,000 will help us expand
the brand with a cool game made of recycled components that you use to give clues,
plus also create some unique marketing that will donate to many diverse non-profits
along the way!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
You can vote now, or read more on our detailed profile at Forbes.com. Here is the link:
You simply need to click on our company to vote for us at Forbes, put in your email address,
and a message will be sent to your email that you click to validate your vote.
Please cast a vote and forward a message to your friends, family, associates, and
anyone who could help us take our business to the next level.
Thank you so much for your help -- and sharing news of this entrepreneurial challenge
with others. This competition is a unique game itself...
Cheers, joy and love,
Brenda & Tony Kvale
P.S. We feel SO blessed right now, regardless of our final results. Thank you for helping us to "go for the gold" -- I mean, "green".
