Eat vegan. Vegans require 1/6th of an acre to subsist on for food and 300 gallons of water to grow that food daily whereas a person who eats meat requires 3.5 acres and 4,000 gallons of water. :-)

I am a vegan who is getting more and more involved with this area. I believe we have the ultimate social responsibility of taking care of Mother Earth. I am not currently involved with any group. My next project is bringing out a vegan clothing line (I am a commercial embroiderer) so am doing lots of investigation and preparation for this. I'd like to see many more vegan options in the area I live in which is the 5th largest city in our nation but very limited in options for those of us interested in making a serious impact in a big way.
