I recently replaced buying paper towels with cloth towels reducing the amount of garbage my family uses. We were going through a roll of paper towels every day or two. Also, the cloth towels make a nice Christmas gift to encourage others to make the change.

I am a middle aged mother who loves the nature around me. I do what I can to be earth friendly, wishing I had the money to take my house off the grid, replacing my usage with wind and solar usage. Currently my family moved from a 3,500 sq ft house into a 900 sq ft house and traded 2 high gas usage vehicles for lower gas usage, would love to afford a gas/electric that I could plug into my (wanted) wind and solar unit house.
