Where do you call home?

decline to state, CA

What tip do you have in the category of 'Environment'?

It takes 1.2 units of fuel to create 1.0 units of ethanol! Tybrid electric cars only a tiny bit "less dirty" than gas. Don't be tricked by Fuel Cell car industry Drill for NATURAL GAS fossil fuel petrochemical finite resource not renewable drilling NATURAL GAS disrupts geological strata turns natural gas into hydrogen creates electricity to run fuel cell battery Feedlot Factory Farming industry raising livestock has billions pounds manure/urine could be turned into hydrogen for fuel cell batteries to drive cars. Biomass from agricultural waste, rice straw, wheat chaff, cornstalks can be turned into hydrogen for fuel cell cars. Greywater - water waste which is not potable for humans to drink or bathe in can be used to turn turbines for electricity to run Fuel Cell cars. Will SOMEONE please use their high order crititical thinking skills and STOP being deluded by GREENWASHING!

What shade of green are you?

Dark Green

What's your favorite Seventh Generation product?

Chlorine-Free Bleach

Tell us about yourself:

I think 7th Generation engages in GREENWASHING since most of their products are in PLASTIC CONTAINERS. I don't care if the plastic has been recycled. Recyling used plastic CREATES POLLUTION since it requires petrochemical solvents to break the plastic down, strip the old inks off of it. It takes energy to ship recycled stuff to the plant - and more fuel to turn it into something new. Instead of wrapping their toilet paper in PLASTIC wrappers, 7th Generation should be wrapping toilet paper rolls in PAPER. What planet are they on? Is this company owned by a transnational corporate cartel which jumped on the bandwagon to make big bucks I don't know if this company is on the level - and therefore generally by their competitors products. There is a lot of baloney "green" products out there. Don't trust a company to be authentic just because they say they are "green" I contacted 7th Generation urging them to quit using plastic packaging in their product and they sent me back a weasle-y reply. Sort of akin to Jamba Juice smoothie chain which sells their fruit juice in STYROFOAM CUPS. I contacted Jamaba Juice urging them to use PAPER CUPS instead. Jamba Juice sent me back a six paragraph letter stating "we are unable to find a paper cup that does not interefere with the unusual texture, characteristics and qualities of styrofoam which is a container we believe is excellent." Speak truth to power and hold 7th Generation ACCOUNTABLE for creating tons of plastic pollution. Love, Peace and Axel Grease, Colleen
