I go green in my cleaning products, food choices (organic), businesses that I patronize, Health Food Center, Oklahoma City, The Good Earth, Edmond. I have gone to all the organic websites that I can think of that I use for coupons and cooking ideas for healthy eating choices, i.e. Earthbound Farm, Horizon Organic, Clearly Organic, Pamelas, Organic Prairie, Dr. Oetker, Cascadian Farms, Omega Nutrition, Village Harvest, Food for Life, figigreen.com, Tazo, Traditional Medicine, Prince of Peace (teas), Garden of Life (vitamins), Damar Farms (organic beef), Primal Nutrition (vitamins/supplements)Philosophy (skin care), Seagate (supplements), Optimal Natural Health (female care). I have been studying natural cures through herbs, and aromatherapy, I just started making my own bath products for my husband to try out, because he has very sensitive skin, so he is a great place to start, I made my first "bath-bomb" ( a little fizzy for the tub), he loved it, it was relaxing because I chose the essential oils for relaxation, and his skin was soft not dry like it usually is. My husband built me a lettuce/greens platform I have started with organic green leaf lettuce, and red kale I saw this on the Martha Stewart show, so I went to her website to find the instructions on how to build it. We have planted rosemary, parsley, basil, sage, oregano, lavendar, spearment, thyme, and majoram (spelling?), they were planted in organic soil, but the plants themselves were not organic, I later found organic seeds for these, I will plant them next planting season. We have also planted blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, nectarine, peach, and apple trees, same scenario, they were planted in organic soil, but the trees were not organic. I use a product called Orega Spray, by North American Herb & Spice Company, it contains: emulsified oil of wild oregano P73, oil of wild lavender, oil of wild bay leaf, and oil of clove. I dilute it about 10 to 1 with water and spray it onto the leaves and top of the soil it keeps the pests from eating and destroying my plants, and it is eatible. My family knows when we get together they are going to have a healthy all organic meal and it tastes great, I'm pretty happy about that since they used to make fun of me when I first started with the natural life path. I've seen too many people get very sick and die a long painful death, I believe God did not make a mistake when he made us, he gave us all the food and medicine we would need on this planet, we just have to eat proper and heal ourselves with all that is available to us.
