Many conventional fabric softeners coat clothes in agents made from animal-derived ingredients. Our concentrated formula uses plant-based ingredients and essential oils for softness that will really make you feel good.

Ingredients:
Aqua, dihydrogenated palmoylethyl hydroxyethylmonium methosulfate (plant-based), calcium chloride and sodium carbonate (mineral), essential oils and botanical extractsâș (lavandin, lavender, eucalyptus globulus, pine - Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender only), methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone (synthetic).
Trace materials are commonly present in cleaning product ingredients.
*Linalool is a component of these essential oils. No phosphates.

Usage:
Fill to Medium line (3/4 oz.) for medium loads, for large loads fill to Large line (1 oz.) Add into water, not directly on laundry, during final rinse cycle. Use appropriate dispenser if available.
Contains 42 loads as measured to medium dose.

I had a bottle of the natural fabric softener go sour on me. It smelled. My laundry room is in the garage and of course during the winter it was cold. I really like the product and was wondering if anyone else may have had this happen to them.

I'm on my third bottle of seventh generation softener and it's all I'll ever use from now on. Everything I wash feels so much better when I use this rather than other commercial stuff (and I tried a ton of others) My clothes always felt like they had a residue on them, no matter how much or LITTLE I used of the others. My blue jeans especially felt almost waxy, but this stuff makes them feel soft AND actually clean. No more weird residue!! It doesn't really leave fabrics smelling like anything but clean, which I love! But if you like your clothes to come out radiating some lavender or "mountain fresh" scent you may not like the lack of overpowering scent. I definitely recommend this stuff!!

I have bought other Seventh Generation products and been satisfied with my purchases, but I will never buy the eucalyptus and lavender fabric softener again! We noticed a while ago (after buying the new fabric softener) that our clothes were stinking like burnt motor when coming out of the washer. We thought for sure that it was time to buy a new washer. I had a random thought that maybe it was the fabric softener that was smelling like burnt motor, although I didn't know how that would even be possible. Sure enough, it was the fabric softener! We have been washing our clothes without it and there is no longer a burnt motor smell. I'm really glad I figured that out instead of wasting our money on a new washer!
