Line drying and hornets/wasps

I just signed up today for the line drying challenge and hope I'm posting my question in the right place. We have tried line drying outside before and have an awful problem with hornets and wasps getting into the clothing to hang out, then ending up in our house. Any ideas or tips?

line drying and bugs

I must be lucky. I have been using a clothes line since i was a child. I'm 64 yrs old and have NEVER encountered bugs in my clothes. I do shake them as i remove and fold before placing in basket.

clothesline

Come on folks enough with the whining--i grew up in the city, every 3 decker (you suburbanites google 3 decker)had pulleys with clotheslines. We were "green" before "green" was pc. Bugs, come on just give your clothes a shake.

Where is this happening?

I'm curious about where these things are happening.

bugs

A few quick snaps of the items before putting them back in the basket, this also knocks the stiffness out. They migbt be looking for moisture - those hanging wasp traps might help, put them near the lines. Don't give up!
