Out of 84,000 chemicals on the market today, the Environmental Protection Agency has tested only 200 of them for their health effects.

Tune in for a glimpse into the conversation as Deepak Chopra, John Replogle of Seventh Generation, and Jeanne Rizzo of the Breast Cancer Fund discuss concerns surrounding potentially harmful chemicals and petroleum-based ingredients found in everyday personal care, household cleaning, laundry, and baby care products. The conversation is moderated by green living personality Sara Snow.

another new member.... agree with above

How true it is that the collective majority uses and uses without really registering where the waste goes or how it affects the environment. I am proud to be using seventh generation products and doing our part.

Our great grandmother used natural things to keep house clean.

Vinegar, baking soda and such things were used. I collect antique books that my great grandmother read and find out suggestions for cleaning before they bought a lot of cleanng products.

Just before the holidays,We realize the cleaning product we were using, the strong chemical order it let behind, we made a big change never again to use. not Environmental friendly, we will not buy, price is not the issue,we will cut back on certain things but not your family health
