The Whole Planet Foundation, established by Whole Foods Market, is supported by several natural foods companies, including Seventh Generation.

Based on the fact that women are more likely to live in poverty than men are, the Whole Planet Foundation provides micro loans to women in the United States as well as around the globe in an effort to lift families from poverty.

Congratulations to all!

Honorees must demonstrate real and sustained ethical leadership within their industries and translate ethical words into action, Ethisphere says.

I was shocked to read the news this week that several corporations with long track records of polluting the environment and their public relations firms hired corporate spies to steal documents from Greenpeace. Greenpeace is suing the companies and individual involved -- once again, bringing to light environmental crimes.
