Seventh Generation Foundation Donates $50,000 to Winners
It Pays to Show How Much You Care!
The results are in! Canada showed everyone how it's done by casting their votes in the Show You Care Today Canada campaign. Following an exciting month of online voting via Facebook, $50,000 cash will be donated to three of the country's leading social and environmental foundations.
The David Suzuki Foundation [www.davidsuzuki.org] emerged as the winner of the Show You Care Today campaign. A $25,000 donation will be made from Seventh Generation to help the foundation continue its efforts in finding solutions to help build a sustainable low-carbon future, protect habitats, and address toxic chemicals in our environment.
Second-place winner, WWF-Canada [www.wwf.ca] will receive a $15,000 donation that will support ongoing initiatives to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
YWCA Canada [www.ywcacanada.ca.] will receive the third-place award of a $10,000 donation to support their work building a voice for women and children and promoting an equitable society.
