PPNNE Conference: A Critical LinkAn important part of Seventh Generation's mission is to create cleaning and personal care products that are free of toxic chemicals. As we consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations, we must look at the long-term effects of the tens of thousands of chemicals we surround ourselves with on a daily basis. There is mounting medical evidence to support the link between even low levels of exposure to toxic chemicals and a variety of developmental issues, including many involving women's health.

That's why Seventh Generation is proud to be a sponsor of A Critical Link: The Environment and Women's Health, a conference presented by Planned Parenthood of Northern New England in Burlington, Vermont on Thursday, September 10, 2009. It will feature a keynote address by ecologist, author, and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber. Seventh Generation's Senior Director of Corporate Consciousness, Dave Rapaport will moderate a panel discussion with Steingraber and other distinguished experts titled, "We ARE part of the solution."

We hope you'll join us as we explore the link between human health and the products we put into our homes and schools, as well as into our bodies. Our goal is to teach you how to make informed decisions to protect your family and your environment.
