The Kids Are Alright
Reading the morning mail, we find that Seventh Generation has just been named one of the Top 10 favorite green brands of the 21-29 age bracket by the San Francisco-based marketing group Outlaw Consulting, which asked members of “Generation Y” to name those companies they like and think are doing something for the environment.
According to the research, we’re seen as trailblazers who are going where no cleaning products company has gone before. That’s a reputation that Outlaw researchers say makes it likely that Seventh Generation will “stick” in consumers’ minds over the long term and in doing so earn lasting respect.
Works for us! But it would seem the biggest and most interesting piece of information to be gleaned from this ranking is that it comes from the thinking of people aged 21 to 29.
Environmental issues matter to Gen Y, and that’s hugely important because these are the consumers of the future. Today they’re just starting out in life, but tomorrow they’re going to be our country’s dominant economic force. So it’s extremely heartening that this up-and-coming economic force already is developing a strong environmental ethic.
So while it’s great for Seventh Generation to be in the Top 10, it’s even better for Earth that young people are in tune with sustainability.

not only with the 21/29 age group, ALSO with the 'older' groups......I'm way over the hill and LOVE your products........thank-you for trying to better our world, and make it a safer place for our future generations......let there be peace, and let it begin with me........
