We in the Mad River Valley in Vermont have launched the Carbon Shredders -- a group of folks using the book Low Carbon Diet by David Gershon to create a local movement of reducing the carbon footprint in the Valley by 10% by 2010.

The program is moving out and beginning to take form. There will be more information soon on our Act page on what we are doing and how you can create a community based program in your local-place.
