We all experience more than a touch of both scorn and envy when it comes to fame. But travel with me to L.A for an evening that benefited one of the best and bravest organizations, a non-profit that’s figured out how to put all that celebrity status to good use.
Even prior to joining the Seventh Generation team last fall, the term “environmentalist” left me feeling unsettled. It may be a moot point to many, but, as I reflect on the germination of my discomfort with the word, I hope to confirm that my foreboding instincts about its unfortunate evolution began, for me, not as an employee of an eco-responsible company, but as a regular-old citizen of the planet.
Life is in a constant state of change whether we like it or not. Who I was last year – even last month – is not who I need to be tomorrow. If your business is growing like ours it's critical. Here are my most recent reflections, my thoughts on where I need to be next. I share it in the hopes that in some way it might help move you to your next stage of being.
