Highlighting Children's Hair

I apologize in advance if this topic has already been discussed. I am new to the forums and need advice. I know someone (a hairdresser) who just highlighted 5 kids hair and they range in age from 2 years to 13. Putting aside the debate over how soon is too soon, self-esteem and the like, my bigger concern is the absorption rate of children's skin being so much higher than that of an adults and the potential harm it can do. Remember the warnings about bug sprays, sunscreens, and more 25 years ago? Hmmm...what do you think?

If I had a daughter and wanted to highlight

I'd just stick to lemon juice :) I have no idea if any other way would be safe though. Even if a hairdresser told me it was safe, I'd have many reservations. I mean they are saying the Brazilian blowout is safe yet every report is saying the formaldehyde levels are unsafe

btw....I've never even looked to this forum before today. Sorry you didn't get the responses you were hoping for.

Noone Cares

No ones cares about this one huh? Okay...I was told that the highlighting doesn't touch the scalp as it's all in the foil...whatever.
