A Green Solvent that Recycles in the Washing Machine

Is there a green solvent that can be recycled in a (special) washing machine available? Washing machines waste more water and chemicals to remove an amount of dirt that is usually less than the detergent thats added. There should be a recyclable (and reclaimable) green and sustainable solvent available for institutional, commercial, industrial and consumer applications. I am working on this problem.
