Green Dry Cleaning vs. "Organic"

It's really frustrating to see many dry cleaners abuse the word "organic" when they are clearly still using cancer-causing PERC or other hydrocarbon based TOXIC solvents. These solvents are misleading with such names as "Green Earth" when they are based on either silicone, petroleum, or sand-based products. These unscrupulous dry cleaners are using the word "organic" (as many items are organic COMPOUNDS) and claiming that they are earth friendly. Walk into any of such stores and you will see that they have drum containers which store hazardous material which is to be hauled away by the county/local health department.

The only GREEN or TRULY ORGANIC cleaning are WET CLEANERS and CO2 cleaners. Consumers need to educate themselves and know whether their hard-earned money is being spent frivolously and dangerously on dry cleaning which is harmful to themselves and the environment.

I'm surprised that in this lawsuit happy nation, no one has taken a legal stance or action against these spiteful and lying dry cleaners! It's appalling!
