Green beauty: Green substitute for cotton balls?

Hi everyone. I use an awful lot of cotton balls with stuff on them to clean my face, and it seems wasteful to just keep using cotton balls. I've tried normal washcloths(cotton- just like a towel), but they don't hold stuff like rubbing alcohol well enough. Is there something else I could use that would be reusable?
Thanks so much!

Try microfiber

Hello,

Have you tried microfiber cloth? It can hold a ton of liquid and is reusable, of course. I agree, using cotton balls every day does produce a certain amount of waste, but cotton is a renewable resource, and can be composted too. If microfiber doesn't work for you, perhaps you can at least find some organic cotton balls. I haven't seen any stores offering them yet, but you can order them online. Here's one site: www.greencradle.com

Hope that helps.
