These are a little pricier than glass but you can use them as sippy and water bottles later with their conversion kits. They are also super cute and durable and just as safe and healthy as glass. They don't scratch as easy as plastic so germs won't cling and grow and they won't shatter or break like glass. Another option is the Born Free, Green to Grow and Think baby bottles. Made of special plastic that is very well tested to be safe for baby. Hope this helps!
I would love to go glass for our next baby, but our whole house is tile, and I am not sure how protective the sleeves/covers are. Does any one have any experiences they can share? Double wrapping, etc?
I like the glass and you can buy a silcone sleeve to protect against drops for the Born Free ones. My problem is that my kids are in daycare and it is actually a violation of the daycare regs to use glass bottles.
My concern with glass is the child might drop them on he floor I love the look and feel of glass. Has anyone used the rubber evenflo type covers? Are they worthwhile? Do they work with other types of glass bottles, say Dr. Brown's. Does any other company make a rubber cover that you know of?
I agree! If you are asking for the best between the two, GLASS ALL THE WAY! I have had 5 kids, glass lasts WAY longer and cleans up so much better! They cost just a little bit more, but last a lot longer, so the little extra money is worth it.
