I am frequently cleaning poopy diapers in our bathroom. We use cloth and I worry about the germs spread around the toilet and in the diaper bucket. What can I use to disinfect the area safely?

These wipes are not biodegradable. They are made of rayon and polyester and will not biodegrade, they are not flushable nor should they be composted. No wipe can authentically claim the wipe is biodegradable because biodegradable wipes do not biodegrade if they are disposed of in a landfill. Because used wipes are disposed of in landfills, making biodegradation claims are false and misleading. Seventh Generation prioritizes chlorine-free whitening processes over biodegradability in wipes for this reason. We hope that someday the conditions of land filling will be conducive to biodegradation or that someone will develop a material that biodegrades under current landfill conditions. Until such time we will not make biodegradable claims on our wipes. This is Sue and let me know if you have any questions.
HI, We have just introduced a line of disinfectants that will work well for you. We have 2 container sizes of wipes, as well as a multisurface spray cleaner and a foaming bathroom cleaner. These are pretty new to the market, so if your favorite store doesn't have them, be sure to ask when they will get them in. Target stores nationwide will have these on shelf in February. Many Whole Foods stores also have them in. On our store finder, we actually have a listing of the stores that have ordered them and have them in store, here is the link to "Where to Buy": www.seventhgeneration.com/where-to-buy. Please let me know if you have any question and I would like to encourage you to look at these products on our web site here.

biodegradable wipes
Are your new wipes biodegradable? My concern with using wipes has always been the "disposable" factor - adding more to the landfill.
