There is a great product for getting rid of cat urine odor called Vital Oxide. It is a sanitizer/disinfectant/deodorizer that is virtually odorless. It is food/people/pet safe, NSF approved and EPA registered. www.greencleaningtech.com
If you're still having trouble, the following has worked great for me:
16 oz hydrogen peroxide
1 tsp dishwashing liquid
1 TBSP baking soda
Mix this up and spray heavily on the affected area. For more odor control, first, douse the area with a white vinegar and water mix. Let it dry, then spray the above solution.
I know. Sounds like a waste but..... fill a spray bottle with cheap vodka, spray the area well and let dry. While waiting for the area to dry, loosely cover with foil. (Don't chew me out for having foil please but the cats won't walk on it) Spray again once it's dry and again cover with the foil. That should do it. If you ever get a "whiff" of urine, just douse it with the vodka again and leave the foil in place until the cats lose interest. Hope it helps you as much as it's helped me.
