After announcing to friends and family that we were going green, this Lavender body wash was my first Seventh Generation purchase. The first time we used it, my husband and I had the same reaction: "Whew! That's some strong lavender! We smell like hippies." And I like lavender! Although quite pungent at first, the body wash suds up well, has a nice thick consistency that really clings to your skin until you wash it off (but is not sticky), leaves no residue behind and FINALLY... after rinsing, only a light and faint scent of lavender remains on your healthy, fresh skin so that you smell like a really CLEAN & WELL-GROOMED hippie! I have used several bottles now and really enjoy the full lavender experience, the scent doesn't faze me anymore, although my husband prefers the peppermint one so our bathroom occassionally smells like a candy cane factory (not a bad thing). One more important thing to note: these bodywashes are oh-so-gentle and do not sting any cuts or sensitive areas on your body, so you can give yourself a really thorough scrubdown!
