Being green on a budget

Being green on a budget,
I am finding it more difficult these days to keep buying green cleaning products because of the cost, my solution was to only buy a few of the products I use most often and try to buy them on sale, also substitute the rest with old fashioned ingredients like vinegar, baking soda and essential oils this has helped to reduce my cost while still being able to clean green and yes sometimes we go without fabric softener still want to try the dryer balls, anyone have feedback on them ?
