What do you guys use to help with the pain? I've used the Hyland's teething tablets which do seem to help. Do any of you use amber necklaces or hazelwood necklaces? We recently discovered the hazelwood necklaces and so far they have been working great. For anyone who doesn't know, they are an old native american remedy to help with teething pain. The hazelwood apparently has the property of absorbing the body's excess acid(which I guess causes much of the teething pain..go figure!). What's even cooler though, is that they have been a miracle for healing our 18 month's old eczema (they're supposed to help with a variety of ailments from teething, to eczema, to acid reflux; all associated with excess acid production) I know it sounds weird, but what can I say, they seem to be working great for us so far!
A website where you can find the hazelwood necklaces is http://www.hazelaid.com
One for the amber necklaces is http://www.teethingnecklace.com/
Have any of you had experiences with these or other natural remedies like it?

Maple rings
My babies have always loved their maple teething rings from Nova Natural Toys.
clove oil
I've heard of clove oil for teething though I have never tried it myself. It's always good to have a few extra tricks up my sleeves for future needs...thanks for sharing!
Clove oil?
My son's almost a year old - he has four teeth, but we haven't had too much fussing with his teething so far. I have used clove oil a few times when he seemed particularly upset, and that seemed to help (though I sometimes wonder if he's just shocked by the sensation). The oil seems a bit strong to me, so I've diluted it on a cold washcloth and let him chew on that. The hazelwood sounds really interesting - Thanks for sharing the sources!
