Animal testing

I was curious to see the warnings about a 7th generation product in regards to the safety of using it on my childs toys. When I did this, I found the Material Safety Data sheet. If you look under the toxicology report, it shows the product is tested on animals. It is a 3rd party company that conducts the testing for this Seventh Generation product. I was displeased to find this out, as part of the reason I purchased this product was that it claimed it did not test on animals. While this is true, they failed to mention there is a 3rd party that does the testing (at least in this case). Refer to the MSDS under product tab. It should be noted, that this information was ONLY looked up for the multi-purpose cleaner & disinfectant. This is the product that is refered to in this instance.

Follow up

After further searching, I found a letter to another seventh generation customer with a very similar question. I have provided a link to the company's answer. We will continue to purchase seventh generation as a result of this letter. Thank you for your stance on animal testing, seventh generation.

Here is the link for all interested.
