Alternative to Clorox Wipes

I am trying to find a substitute for Clorox Wipes to send to school with my children. Both of their supply lists include these wipes, and I am horrified by the thought of my children coming in contact with the residue from these wipes on a daily basis. I have searched the web for hours for a similar natural product, but I haven't been successful. I found one made by EO, but it didn't have good reviews. Can anyone recommend an alternative?

Overkill

I would contact the school and voice your concerns about the overkill of germs when scrubbing with simple soap and hot water will do. See why they want the kids to bring the wipes: Is it to wipe down their desks and books? Or is it for classroom use on items? Perhaps there is a less icky cleaner than could be used instead. For bodily fluids, bleach based cleaners & disinfectants are still needed for safety reasons in public schools. I have found that Method makes cleaning wipes that work great for quick cleaning around the house when I don't have time to use a bucket and sponge or just for little messes. I have not seen a wipe from Seventh Gen yet in our local stores but I would think this would be on the development table.
