I need to replace our on-faucet water filter and need advice on a good one.
I refuse to purchase another PUR or BRITA - I've had terrible experiences with both constantly leaking etc.
My husband and I both work for non-profits so cost does matter.
Anyone have any advice?

Water Filters
Unfortunately I don't have a suggestion, but an alert to recommend that you get a filter that does not filter out fluoride. As a dental hygienist I have seen the caries rate in children increase since the use of bottled water has become so widespread. Fluoridated water also benefits adults, especially if an individual has exposed root surfaces and/or a dry mouth.
I have had the same problem
I have had the same problem with the filters that attach to the faucet, being an "apartment dweller" I can not alter the water system, so the only solution I have found is to use two of the standing pitchers. The little extra effort in filling them is worth the alternative.
