Shower Cleaner

I use the shower cleaner more for other cleaning than I do in the shower. It works really well in the shower, but the fact that one of it's main ingredients is hydrogen peroxide, makes it great for other cleaning. I used it on my kitchen counters, sink drainer, sink, garbage cans, toilet seats, pretty much any place I'd like to [...]. I understand it's not as effective as the other cleaners for [...], but it works great, and I know the peroxide is killing [...], too. Plus the foaming action of the peroxide cleans in tight spaces. I had a neighbor cat that was spraying outside of my garage door, and someone told me that hydrogen peroxide cleaners work well to [...] and get rid of the smell. So I used the Shower Cleaner on the cat spray, and it worked wonders. Thank You Seventh Generation!!!

This product is a good shower cleaner, no doubt. Use on carpets, no! I too spoke with a rep shortly after the "Carpet Cleaner" was taken off the shelves. He did not give me a valid reason as to why that was the case but, he said to "use the Shower Cleaner instead as it is the same exact product/formulation, only difference is the label." I tried it a few times. Initially, it was okay, but going forward it never removed stains 100% like the carpet cleaner was known for. This is the worst product to use on your carpets. I had all of my pet sit clients using the carpet cleaner, even on their expensive orientals. I did not pass the shower cleaner tip on to them until I had used it. I will not recommend it. So 7th Gen, what is the reason you took the product of the shelf? It actually worked! I'm very disappointed. Other reviewer had a good idea...market it as a pet stain remover. I'd buy it!

It may be great for the environment, but very harsh on people! It irritates my throat so that I will not use it again. Just using a light spray in the shower with the exhaust fan running. I can't even get half way through the shower before I have to leave the room. Paid twice the price as the competition and have to throw it away.
Not recommended.

This product, for me, has been nothing short of amazing. I have a shower with a full glass door, as well as half of another wall that is glass. For years, before using this product, I had constantly fought mildew and soap scum. I hated always having to think about cleaning the shower. It was such an effort to do so. I had attempted to use other standard daily shower cleaners, but hated using them after taking a shower because the chemically laden cleaner would often drip on my hands and then I had to wash them before thinking about putting makeup on or whatever. I started using the Seventh Generation Shower Cleaner and wasn't worried about any of it dripping on to my hands. It was safe. But even a bigger deal than that was how INCREDIBLY this stuff worked. I use it daily on the glass of my shower and my whole shower has remained [...] free for over a year. AMAZING! I tell everyone I know about it. Not only is there no [...], but for a year - without cleaning it - and with only spraying it down after each shower, it continued to look sparkling clean - as if I had just done a major cleaning. A WHOLE YEAR! I kid you not. I don't spray the bottom of the shower, so I would have to clean that - but the glass, etc never needed cleaning. If someone came into my bathroom they would have thought I had just cleaned the shower. It looks amazing ALL of the time. I can't get over how great this stuff works. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.
