Seventh Generation have shown their commitment to customer service. A week after I wrote the earlier review, Sue from Seventh Generation contacted me via e-mail indicating that they had reviewed the situation and wanted to correct the issue. Not only are they sending me a full replacement box of overnight diapers, they are also giving me a number of packages of some of their newest baby products. I am very excited to try these new products.
While it did take some time for the issue to be resolved, in the end, they understood that customer satisfaction is key and went the extra mile to ensure that. I will definitely remain a loyal customer.
Thank you Seventh Generation for resolving my issue.
We've been using seventh generation diapers from the day we brought our daughter home--22 months ago. When they released the overnight diaper, I also begun using them as well. The first box we got was great--just what we were expecting. But the 2nd box was a complete opposite. It looks like when they add the new design, they also change the construction of the diapers. The tab rips easily. If it doesn't rips while putting it on, it will rip while our daughter is wearing it and cause it leak.
I called the customer service and spoke/emailed Sue Holden. She told me that my batch could be "defective" and will replace them. Since the box of the overnight diapers were defective, I assumed she was going to replaced the whole box but instead they sent me 1 package.
As a loyal customer for 22 months, I think I deserve the whole box to be replaced not just 1 package. To make the matter worse, Ms. Holden asked me to send her a sample of the "defective" diapers (because picture was not enough for them). She sent me $6 postage. But it cost $7 to send them back a package of diapers. I ended up paying $1 more just to ship a sample of your defective diapers.
It has been almost a month (6/11) and I have not received any update from her or received the replacement remaining "defective diapers"
Having a defective diapers is irritating but dealing with terrible customer service is more upsetting!!
Clearly, Ms Holden never had a child because she doesn't know how it feels when your child cry at night because she wet or doesn't know the value of money! Very disappointing
Purchased these for my grandson since his mother does not wish to use diapers with all the chemicals in them. Used them the first time he had an overnight visit with us and they were terrific!! No leaks or soiled pajamas or sheets...and we were all thrilled to know they were good for his sensitive skin and the environment. Thanks for a wonderful product.
These work just as well as any other popular brand of overnight diaper and I've had minimal problems with leaks. The tabs do present a challenge in that I've ripped one off completely when putting the diaper on and often, in the morning, one or both seems to have been stretched to within an inch of it's life. I've noticed that the overnights have less elastic in the back than the regular ones and suspect this may be part of the issue? It's not enough to keep me from using them - the chlorine free benefits definitely outweigh any negatives.
I have been using Seventh Generation Diapers for almost 3 years now. I love how they are more chemical free and they have always absorbed a ton. Recently switched to the new overnights and love the new generous cut, but hate the new tab construction. At least 2-3 (if not more) diapers from every pack have the tabs rip off when trying to put the diaper on. It also seems that many of the remaining diapers are about to come apart at that seam by morning. Disappointed at the contruction of the tabs and wish they would be attached better. Although, I will continue to use this product.
