The new wipes are terrible. Much rougher, too wet and soapy. They gave my toddler a rash, I switched back to the Huggies wipes, and then I gave these new seventh gen wipes a 2nd try since I really liked the old version of these wipes. By the 2nd dy they gave my toddler a rash again. I'm never going to use these wipes again! I logged into this website just now to call customer service and request my money back since I purchased the 768 count.
Please bring back the old wipes - you will lose your loyal customers I f you don't.... Remember the fiasco with the "new Coca Cola"........
I really hate to leave bad reviews for anything; people's experiences are so subjective. But after seeing the commonalities in reviews here, I have to weigh in as well, in the hopes that Seventh Generation will listen to their customers and revert to their old product.
We started using these wipes in earnest; I'm not opposed to a better formula (even if it means there are six less wipes per package, with no reduction in price). However, I was immediately disappointed to see that they were thicker (why?), and that I needed to actually wring them out to remove excess liquid; my daughter's behind was incredibly damp and I had to use a hair dryer to help dry her before putting on her diaper.
I moved from disappointed to infuriated when I found that my daughter developed a huge rash after using these wipes. Red and bumpy and PAINFUL for her. She's screamed through every diaper change since this rash developed. We had two extra packs of the old formula wipes, and have reverted to those in the past week...and her rash is going down.
Nothing else in her diet, diaper cream, etc had changed, and she's been rash-free for months prior to this -- between this process-of-elimination and the reviews here, I am confident these wipes are the issue.
Seventh Generation, I'd like to (at the very least) hear a response that indicates you at least hear these issues. You're losing customers by the day. You've just lost this one. I'm off to find some other brand of wipes.
These are not softer at all! It's like using a paper towel dampened with dish soap. Did you test market these whatsoever? The wipes only move around the mess from a poopy bottom and my son has broken out in a rash within 24 hours of use. Bad, bad "improvement"! I have purchased my last pack of your wipes until you listen to your customers and bring back the perfectly wonderful old version.
I had to give this 1 star, but true rating is 0!! Our family tries to use Seventh Generation products for everything, but we have to find another brand of baby wipes. The NEW wipes are too thick, wet and soapy. Our baby now has a rash and we have to discontinue using. We used the old wipes for all family members and are EXTREMELY disappointed in the NEW ones. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD WIPES!!!! Our level of disappointment matches that of so many other reviewers here...please listen to us and we will be back, guaranteed!
The old wipes were one-of-a-kind! First, these wipes are too thick. They don't get into baby's fatty skin folds without substantial rubbing. And since these wipes are somehow rougher, more rubbing means irritated baby skin and an unhappy baby. The wipes are also too wet and soapy. I'm sure my baby would have developed a rash as the other reviewers report, but i used the new wipes once and then never again. I'm now using Earth's Best wipes which are inferior to the old 7th gen wipes.
