What do you think about our NEW! Free & Clear Baby Wipes - THICKER & STRONGER!?

I am horrified that a company i turn to for responsible environmental solutions has added a large unnecessary piece of plastic to every wipes package! what's the impact of THAT on the next 7 generations?! neither am i happy about the new synthesized ingredient that i can't find a good explanation of. Tell 7th Gen to ditch the plastic and explain or remove the new phosphate ingredient!

New wipes are horrible! Thicker is nice, but they are much rougher and don't do as good a job cleaning up the mess.

Going back to the Whole Foods brand which is much better and about the same price.

I had been using the previous version of these wipes for almost 4 years and I LOVED them. However, I am deeply disappointed in the New version of the free and clear baby wipes. The new version is too wet and soapy and have resulted in the irritation of my youngest child. I have had to switch brands and I am stuck with almost an entire case of these wipes. I am so sad you changed this product, and that I am stuck with many packages I won't use. I will no longer recommend these wipes to others.

I guess I'm relieved to discover that many others feel the same way about the "new and improved" wipes. I'm really disappointed with the change and won't be buying this product anymore. The wipes are too thick and WAY too wet. With twins on the way, I'm searching for a wipe similar to the original product - a wipe that's thin yet strong, and not at all soapy and overly wet like most others on the market.

Oh Seventh Generation, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!! We are SO, very disappointed in your "New" baby wipes! I agree with all the other reviews: They are too thick and stiff, you can't clean baby's bottom easily, they don't feel softer, and they are too thick to pull easily out of the wipes warmer.

We have been using them for 5 years and now I will not order them again. It is so disappointing to loose such a great product.

I can't imagine why you decided this new version was a better product. One would have to assume production cost was a factor??? PLEASE listen to your customers and bring back the old version.

I used to order the wipes in bulk from Diapers.com and I was planning to continue buying them even after the kids were out of diapers (I have many uses for them) But now I will have to find a new product.
