Why are you using methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone in your Free and Clear Laundry Detergent and Dish Soap? Studies have shown methylisothiazolinone to be an allergenic and cytotoxic. I looked up the ingredients when family members started having allergic reactions to them. I buy your products because I trust them to be natural, only to find out that they have potentially dangerous ingredients. I won't be buying your products anymore.

I have been using this detergent for over a year now. My clothes are always clean, it's great on stains and spots, and best of all it's great for my sensitive skin! The price in comparable to Tide Free and Clear. I'll never use any other detergent.

The greatest detergent ever! I have sensitive skin and hard water. This by far is the only laundry detergent I will ever use. I have been using it for several months and my clothes look brand new again as well as my skin. I recommend to everyone! Thanks Seventh Generation for saving me and my planet!

I had been having mysterious "oily" spots appear on my dark clothing after going through the laundry. I found many others online discussing the same frustrating phenomenon. After reading through probably hundreds of comments regarding this, I decided to try a non-petroleum based detergent. Of all the possible causes/solutions discussed online, this was the only one that I could not rule out. So I tried Seventh Generation 2x Free and Clear and it worked! I was afraid it might not get the clothes as clean otherwise but it has been fabulous! Now I will try many more Seventh Generation products.

We, in my family feel that this soap is better for our clothes, our skin, and our natural waterways (where all soap winds up). This company seems to care about the consumer. They offer a good product. If you have ever made your own soap, you can appreciate the difficulty in making laundry soap that will compete with the crappy name brands. This product beats them in our estimation!

If you want toxins, artificial cloth brightener dyes and skin rashes, get tide.
