Material Safety Data Sheets

Usage:

LOAD DISHWASHER- Make sure items can be safely washed in a dishwasher.  Silver, aluminum and stainless steel should be washed in separate loads to avoid discoloration.  Load items with soiled surfaces facing the center of the bottom rack for optimum dishwashing.

ADD DISHWASHER DETERGENT PACK- Use one natural dishwasher detergent pack per load.  Do not unwrap or puncture pack.  Do not handle dishwasher pack with wet hands.  Place pack in main dispenser cup and close immediately.

Re-seal package after use and store in a dry place out of reach of children.  For very hard water we recommend using Seventh Generation Rinse Aid.

What do you think about our Dishwasher Tabs?

Personally, I like using dishwasher powder. This brand, of course, but my husband likes convenience over anything else. This is his favorite type of dishwashing method to use. Our dishes always come out clean and I have a good conscious knowing that I'm not harming the planet.

These work about as well as any other dishwasher pack. I really like that they are unscented. I really don't like to smell anything other than the food I am eating on my dishes and cutlery. However, dishwasher packs in general, I have issues with. Sometimes the pvc casing doesn't dissolve all the way and either gets dried up on your dishes or sticks to the soap dispenser door and never dispersed all the way. You also can't control how much soap you use like you can with the regular box of powder, for example, to adjust to the hardness of your water. I also dislike that there are only 20 packs in the bag. That would have been great when I was single, but cooking for a whole family I'd like to see more like 45 packs per bag. Given these draw backs, I don't think the convenience of a pre-measured pack is worth the higher price point than the regular boxed powder, which also comes in the free & clear.

Absolutely the worst product I have tried from Seventh Generation. Generally I love the company and try to support them, but this will be the one and only time I purchase these dishwasher pacs. The first time the pack stuck to the cover of the soap dispenser and the dispenser did not open in the wash. Ran it again and the door opened but only about half of the dissolved. Ran it a 3rd time and the dishes were finally clean. The next time I used on of these pacs it was about 75% dissolved with the rest stuck like glue in my dispenser box and my dishes were not as clean as I would expect.

This one does it right. I love this product.
I had tried a different brand previously and it was a diaster. The outer wrapper didn't dissolve in the machine and left a little plastic case behind. Then the results were hit and miss.
When I tried 7Gen's product. No problems. Nothing left behind in the machine except clean dishes and no residue. These little pacs make dishwashing so easy!
