LOAD DISHWASHER- Make sure items can be safely washed in a dishwasher. Silver, aluminum and stainless steel should be washed in separate loads to avoid discoloration. Load items with soiled surfaces facing the center of the bottom rack for optimum dishwashing.
ADD DISHWASHER DETERGENT PACK- Use one natural dishwasher detergent pack per load. Do not unwrap or puncture pack. Do not handle dishwasher pack with wet hands. Place pack in main dispenser cup and close immediately.

I struggled with a white film left on my dishes until I used this. Absolutely works great.
I use the vinegar trick just to keep my dishwasher clean/deodorized but I LOVE this product! I just wish it came in bigger packages so I didn't have to go to the grocery store every two weeks...
I have used many earth friendly cleaning agents, BUT this really WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From Seventh Generation Consumer Insights:
I see some folks may be having some filming issues with our Dish Pacs. Here is a tip:
Take about a 1/4 cup to a 1/2 cup of white vinegar and splash this on your dirty dishes (right before you start the machine), and this vinegar will work as a rinse aid. If you do this trick every time or every other time, your dishes will come out clean and film-free! We also make a rinse aid that works great too, so you could check your local stores for the Seventh Generation Rinse Aid. Hope this helps and let us know if you are still having problems!
After running several cycles (a full bag's worth) I can say that this product seems to do a good job of cleaning most items in the dishwasher. However, the glasses seem to come out with a film of left over detergent. We've tried with half loads and full loads to see if the configuration of items in the dish washer was the cause, but we still seem to find the film on at least one item in each cycle. Maybe the rinse aid product will help.
