Material Safety Data Sheets
This natural dishwasher detergent gel has been formulated to work in all dishwashers, please follow the instructions to get the best dishwashing detergent experience.
LOAD DISHWASHER- Make sure items can be safely washed in a dishwasher. Silver, aluminum and stainless steel should be washed in separate loads to avoid discoloration. Load items with soiled surfaces facing the center of the bottom rack, for optimum dishwashing experience. Filling your dishwasher and washing full loads of dishes conserves water.
ADD DISWASHER DETERGENT GEL- Fill dishwasher dispenser cup 1/2- 2/3 full. Use less dishwasher detergent gel for soft water/smaller loads. For very hard water we recommend using Seventh Generation Rinse Aid.
For very hard water we recommend using our Rinse Aid.
Please recycle automatic dishwasher gel bottle when it is empty

I try not to do the normal dishwasher dance of sneaking in a pre-wash to insure everything gets clean but I decide what's worse: doing the prewash or having to wash a bunch of dishes a second time (and yes, sometimes a third - although by that time I'm doing it by hand). I've been using the gel for about two-three weeks now and the dishes come out so dirty that I had to check and make sure my partner was actually running it with detergent in it! While it gets (most) of the large food pieces off, the cups, bowls and most of the silverware remain crusted with dirt. I'm really interested in eco-friendly alternatives to household cleaning supplies and I really like my other Seventh Generation cleaners but this product just doesn't work!
i bought a bottle of the gel when my Cascade bottle became empty. I have to say I am disappointed the result of the dishes that need to go another cycle to get clean. I never had that problem before.
I don't know about the water in other areas but in Mobile AL we found putting less gel worked better. This has been true for all the detergents. We switched from Cascade. Recently we had the dishwasher serviced. The service man remarked that, for a 5 year old dishwasher, it looked almost brand new.
We wipe - not wash - the dishes. About 4 or 5 times a year we run an empty cycle with a little baking soda. After reading the reviews it seems that either the local water or amount of detergent is causing most of the problem. We are sticking with this product.
I've switched all my cleaning products to 7th Generation or other natural alternatives, except my automatic dishwashing liquids. I really want to have my dishes cleaned with a more natural product. However, my husband and I find we're having to rewash dishes that come out because they are not coming out 'clean', as they do with solvents such as Cascade. 7th Generation isn't the only 'green' automatic dishwasing liquid I've tried. I know that Cascade and others are not good for my family or the environment. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's the battle of the hard water in Arizona. Any suggestions?!
I've been using this product for a few months now after ditching a phosphate-ridden brand. It works wonders! I even use the Eco-friendly rinse aide. I can't complain about great dishes. Recommended for the Eco-enthusiasts everywhere.
